In Chinese adoption everyone has a LID (log-in-date), that's the date your papers arrive and are documented in China. For examply my LID is 08-11-06. Since we started this journey back some time ago the chinese refer a certain amount of days depending on how many people are logged in on each day.
Say on November 15,2005 there were 100 people with that log-in-date, the chinese may refer only 1 or 2 days because they only have say 150 babies paper ready. When the Chinese refer only 1 or 2 days is usually means there were a lot of people logged in on those days and it makes our wait times a lot longer.
Currently they are referring days in early april of 2006. We are 8/2006 and they did a 7 day batch which means that we are 7 days closer to getting our referral. That's a big batch.
